Auntie losing nieces and nephews...

Self-proclaimed “Auntie” Corinne is slowly losing nieces and nephews — err followers — on her biggest platform: @misscorinne86 on TikTok.

When the story Self-proclaimed ‘Auntie’ admits being wrong about tribal affiliations was published on Indianz.Com, Corinne Perera Oestreich Rice Grey Cloud had more than 100,000 followers. According to SocialBlade.Com, her flock was 100,100 strong.

But in the last couple of weeks, when Native people on social started asking questions about “Auntie’s” background, the follower count has begun to drop. Not by a lot, but enough for @misscorinne86 to have fallen below the 100,000 count.

The account is now down to about 99,841, as of the morning of January 27, 2022, according to TokCount.Com.
