The creator who kicked off the whole Womblands saga has left the building. For this generation, that means TikTok.
But just like Lance Tsosie aka Modern Warrior, @chelseahartisme isn’t going very far.
“Take care, and see you on instagram,” the creator wrote in her supposedly final video in TikTok, posted on the evening of March 24, 2022. Handle: @chelseheartisme, of course.
And in case you’re wondering whether @modern_warrior has deleted his TikTok account as promised. Well, he hasn’t.
“I’m going to delete my account this time tomorrow,” Tsosie wrote on the afternoon of March 21, 2022.
Although @modern_warrior has been set to private, Tsosie has kept the account online. While he is still losing followers, the “farewell” video continues to rack up views: more than 548K views as of this posting on the afternoon of March 25, 2022.
Not bad for a “deleted” account.
Finally, if you’re wondering how the mainstream media has viewed this social media situation, check out the NBC News story “Indigenous women on TikTok say they’re being unfairly harassed for their association with creator Modern Warrior” that was published on the morning of March 24, 2022.
And, as always, keep checking for what’s In The Hoop!
